Empowering Communities, Building a Brighter Future
SD Foundation was founded in 2018 by Eng. Samuel and Eng. Lusayo Biton with a vision to empower young women and communities in Malawi. Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s belief that ‘If you educate a man, you educate an individual, but if you educate a woman, you educate a nation,’ the foundation focuses on providing education, mentorship, and access to clean water to create a brighter future for Malawi and Sub-Saharan Africa. Over the years, we have grown into a trusted organization that works closely with local communities, government agencies, and international partners to deliver impactful programs that address the root causes of poverty and inequality. Our journey is driven by a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and collaboration, ensuring that every initiative we undertake creates lasting change.Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. SD Foundation’s programs are funded through the collaborative efforts of our trustees and interested partners. We also organize several fundraising activities to support our initiatives. These funding mechanisms ensure that we can continue to empower young women, provide clean water, and create sustainable change in Malawi and beyond.
